TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- 1. When a member of Air Companion receives this promotional invitation for a Companion Ticket, the member will have the right to purchase a round trip Base Airline Ticket with taxes and commissions for one adult in economy class and to receive a courtesy Companion Ticket with the same characteristics as the Base Airline Ticket for which only the taxes and the commission for its issuance will be paid, for departure from and to the cities and destinations listed in point 14 of these Terms and Conditions or in the Destinations section of the program's web site. The taxes, airport fees and commissions or any other airport fees are additional and may be applied both to the Base Airline Ticket and to the Companion Ticket, when applicable.
- 2. The purchaser of the Base Airline Ticket must be the Air Companion Member to whom the certificate was awarded and the member must pay the airline ticket plus taxes and commissions corresponding to both tickets using a credit card. Once the reservation has been confirmed and the tickets have been issued, they are non-transferable, non-refundable, and changes to the itinerary or names of the travelers are not allowed.
- 3. The round trip flight of the ticket holder and the member’s companion must be completed within the validity of the certificate. The validity information appears on the bottom part of the Reservation Form. Both passengers must travel to the same destination.
- 4. This program is valid only for travel to the destinations listed in point 14 or published in the Destinations section of the program's web site.
- 5. The certificate number, visible in the Reservation Form available in the program's website, only applies to obtain a Companion Ticket, on a single occasion, through the Fidelity Marketing agency at the retail fare in force of the airline that provided the quotation at the time of purchase of the Base Airline Ticket. If the Air companion Member has more than one Companion Ticket Certificate, they cannot be used for the same date and destination.
- 6. This Companion Ticket certificate cannot be used in combination with another promotion or discount program, including government, corporate, group, tour, or convention fares, or preferential fares for students, children, Internet travel agencies, as well as fares for immediate or last minute purchase via Internet.
- 7. To purchase your Air Companion Ticket, the purchase must be carried out at least 21 calendar days before the departure date. The Air companion Member has to make the reservation, ticket purchase, and complete the trip within the 12 months following the issuance of the Member’s Companion Flight Certificate. The Air Companion Member shall take into account for the purchasing of the travel tickets whose departure is between December 15 and January 5, during the Easter Week season (which includes the week before, during, and after the Easter Week) and from July 1 to August 30, it is necessary to purchase the ticket at least 60 days in advance. An additional charge of USD 150 will be applied per ticket for all trips to Mexico that are made during the high season mentioned of December, Easter Week, and July-August. International sporting events (Soccer World Cups, Olympic Games, international conferences, etc.) are also considered high season. Making the reservation as soon as possible increases the chances of obtaining a better price and availability on the desired flights. The price sent via e-mail to the Air companion Member once the destination, dates and stopovers have been confirmed, will be the final amount to be paid with the member’s Credit Card, provided it is purchased within the time limit indicated in said notification. Open tickets without date or return destinations are not allowed. Users may not spend the night during stopovers between and toward their final destination. All tickets must have a return date. The round trip must be completed in no more than 30 calendar days.
- 8. The tickets must be purchased on the last day of validity of the certificate at the latest. Once the validity of the Companion Flight Certificates has expired, access to the website will be automatically disabled and no extension to the term shall apply, without exception, for sending the Reservation Form or for the purchase of the Base Airline Ticket. The Companion Flight Certificate may not be used by executives or personnel of the company that owns the program, or by their relatives.
- 9. Fidelity Marketing will try to honor the route and itinerary that the Air companion Member indicates in the Reservation Form, however, it reserves the right to select the travel airline at its discretion based on the availability and participation of certain airlines, being able to choose any commercial airline of the market, after having previously the member authorization.
- 10. The operators will always look for the most economical fare available for the traveler. However, Fidelity Marketing reserves the right to declare a flight not available in case there are changes in price and special availability situations. In this case, another itinerary will be offered to the Air Companion Member to cover the member’s trip. Prices may not exceed, by more than 10%, the minimum market price ("fare") that the quoted airline has in force at the time the Base Airline Ticket is purchased.
- 11. During high seasons such as Christmas, Easter Week, and summer, tickets offered under this promotion are subject to availability of seats. The possibility may also exist that, for reasons beyond the control of the travel agency, in specific seasons and destinations special events are carried out (fairs, festivals, sporting events, Soccer World Cups, Olympic Games, congresses, etc.) not foreseen by the agency, which may restrict the availability, conditions or even prices of flights without previous notice.
- 12. This Companion Ticket certificate is valid only for the member to whom it was awarded and it is not redeemable for cash or for airline tickets purchased through other means. The certificate will be canceled if it is copied, duplicated or falsified.
- 13. To make use of this promotion, it is necessary for the Air Companion Member’s credit card not to be blocked and for it not to have back charges when sending the Reservation Form to obtain the Companion Ticket. In addition, the card must not have other restrictions that hinder the authorization of the charge for the ticket purchase, taxes or other issuance charges. Fidelity Marketing commits and binds itself not to make any charge different to the cost of the Base Ticket and the taxes and commissions for the issuance of the Base Ticket and the Companion Ticket. Any additional charge must be previously authorized, in writing, by the holding Air Companion Member.
